Curated Conversation was born in 2020 during a global pandemic and a deep desire to connect with like-hearted women running their businesses from their dining room tables, bedrooms, and makeshift offices. Meeting on Zoom was the only resource we had at the time.
What began as a way to stay in touch and as sane as we could, given the circumstances, I quickly realized that the in-person connection was missing, and we needed to go deeper. We were ready to build a deeper connection with each other and talk about hard things. We would work on our relationship, one Monday morning at a time.
We are a group of women in business who value being vulnerable, growth centered, and like-hearted. So, as a lover of C words, I titled our time together Curated Conversations and created the format it is today.
Week 1: CURATED CONVERSATION - A curated discussion around the topic. We discuss its definition, what it brings up for us, or what we might notice around us in the world.
Week 2: MIND YOUR BUSINESS - We discuss the topic related to our business and the world.
Week 3: MANAGE YOUR MIND - We discuss our monthly topic related to neuroscience. Because I’m a #braingeek, and your mind matters.
Week 4: WHAT’S ON MY MIND - A final discussion culminating all our discussions wrapped up in a pretty bow. Although we do find, our topics will find a way to weave themselves into future conversations.
