Contemplation: Resilient. Can you withstand or recover quickly from challenges? Read on.
Citation of the Week: There will always be obstacles. How do you build resilience? Tips below!
Conversation Consideration: Reconnect with your vision.
Check Your Reality: (Ask yourself hard questions.) Find Your Unique. What is the thing that makes us unique from the others doing something that once seemed similar?
Now, let’s sweep the brain…
Contemplation:
How resilient are you?
Are you able to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions?
Need tools for your toolbox?
2. Citation.
Your choice.
Are you ready to get to work?
3. Conversation Consideration.
Resilience is a skill that you can build through intentional practice. Be aware of your go-to numbing strategies when feeling discomfort. You CHOOSE to spend time here. You CAN choose a new path.
It’s a given that you’ll fall down in life. And with every fall comes a choice:
Am I going to stay down and mope?
Or will I bounce back like a champion?
Like everything, it takes practice.
Here are 4 steps to resilience:
Embrace: Your fall is temporary.
Connection: Failure is a gift and opportunity. What is YOUR role in it?
Patience: Don’t rush to fix it. Slow down and intentionally make it better.
Vision: Reconnect with your vision. What do you really want here? Why are you doing this? Need support?
4. Check your reality.
How do you separate yourself from others doing what you do in a crowded market?
As a female entrepreneur, it can be hard for me to see what might be different about me compared to others doing something similar. I’m in my own head all day, and how I think seems unremarkable to me.
When I open my thoughts and ideas to others, they become important and unique because they can see what is different.
It can be challenging to see our own strengths (and weaknesses!). But, if we own them, they become our signature.
What is the thing that makes us unique from the others doing something that once seemed similar?
