Now, let’s sweep the brain…

Contemplation: Resource: Successful business owners have support.

1.Contemplation.

Resource

Successful business owners have support. We use an array of resources from systems and processes, software, and our fellow entrepreneurs. It’s imperative that we utilize the right resources at the right time, the right way.

  • Are you utilizing resources that lead you to success?

  • Are you letting go of resources that are not?

  • What resources could you use in your business?

My favorite resources are my colleagues. This resource provides me with a wealth of knowledge, experience and ideas at my fingertips everyday! My community is amazing.

Let us be a useful resource for you!

Citation of the Week: “You don't need to be guided, limited, and controlled by the unconscious through your judge.”― Byron Brown

2. Citation.

That inner-critic

“Many people spend their whole lives doing their best to follow the coaching, guidance, and warnings of the inner critic. Society supports this. However, if you choose to pursue inner work--the search for understanding who you are, what your life means, and what reality is--you are by necessity setting yourself directly in conflict with your judge. To explore what you believe, what you experience, why you act and feel the way you do, is to question the authority of the judge. To bring the underpinnings of your psychological reality (how you think and feel) into consciousness means potentially replacing those assumptions and beliefs with direct knowledge. This would mean experiencing that your conscious awareness can begin to take the place of accepted standards and beliefs. Then you don't need to be guided, limited, and controlled by the unconscious through your judge.”

― Byron Brown, Soul Without Shame: A Guide to Liberating Yourself from the Judge Within

Resources you can use to quiet the inner critic

  1. Self Awareness - observe how often this judge speaks. Journal each time you hear it. Reflect at the end of the day. How many times did it visit you?

  2. Give it name and address it. Speak right to it, in the 3rd person. Judge, Bitch, Saboteur etc..

  3. Self Compassion - be nice to yourself. Don’t believe the lies of the self sabotage. “Actually judge, that isn’t true and here is why”

While there is no one right way for everyone to silence the inner critic, all of the suggestions come with the same thing. Practice and consistency. Like physical fitness, it requires a daily commitment. And as my dear friend Virginia L’Bassi says “You have the power to change because you have the power to choose”

Choose to be as kind to yourself as you are to others.

Need support? You belong here.

F.I.R.E. Week Three: Your firebox of tools includes me.

3. Conversation Consideration.

For the last two weeks, I have shared my FOUR pillar approach to pick, prioritize and execute a profitable idea.

🔥It's called F.I.R.E.

Your GIFT as an entrepreneur is that you are an idea generator. My gift is that I can help you choose the ideas that make your soul sing and help you prioritize your way to bringing them from concept to accomplishment.

🔥Together we'll create a solid Foundation of Strategy

🔥Dive into the Insight and the struggle to see it for ourselves.

🔥Bring together the Resources to start building your FIRE TOOLBOX

🔥And underscore the importance of Execution and what we learn.

Step three is that you need to use your resources:

Your fire is burning now - you can start to feel the heat, see the flame. You’ve begun. You don't want to sit by the fire pit by yourself. You want to expand the fire, share the warmth and invite others. Be careful here; if you are not watching and tending, the fire goes out.

Don’t be a martyr and think you should do this all alone. Successful business owners have support. Resources. They have a FIREBOX of tools, and they know which tool to pull out and use when needed.

Every firebox will look different and be full of different types of tools. However, there are some essential items that everyone will have.

🔥Community - Build a community of like-minded business owners. They understand you, they want to support you, AND there is enough business for everyone!

🔥Your uniqueness - the things that you have from your experience, your life, your creativity that no one else has. YOU are the best tool in the box. Keep it at the ready.

🔥Energy - Value it like currency. Be aware of where you are spending your energy. Your time, your genius, your labor. Be mindful of how you feel. Create a habit of reviewing this.

🔥Silence the inner critic. How you talk to yourself matters. The war in our minds is the two primal forces that make life possible: fear and love. - When you talk negatively to yourself, it comes from a place of fear. Fear of: failure, poverty, rejection, or not mattering.

Love is finding the gift in situations—passion for self and others, love for discovery, possibility, meaning, and purpose.

When you feel negative - anxiety, stress, shame, or blame - find the underlying fear within - then practice shifting to love. Trade the word obligation for opportunity.

🔥ME: Bring on the accelerator. I have the brain of the CEO and can take a campfire to a bonfire.

Need support?

Check Your Reality: (Ask yourself hard questions.) Are you building a community, or are you building an audience? Be unique.

4. Check your reality.

Early on in my business I realized that I wasn’t just looking for customers, transactions or sales.

I was searching for true, meaningful, deep connections with women running businesses. I envisioned a community of female entrepreneurs surrounding each other with qualities like offering support, sharing resources and experience with empathy. A deeper understanding of each other. I’ve collected and collaborated with the most beautiful, intelligent and heartfelt women. I love the uniqueness of you.

Thank YOU for being part of it.

Thank you for being you.

I appreciate each and every one of you.
