I’ve got work to do. Chickbook Creative.

Now, let’s sweep the brain

Confident Humility | Mind Your Business.

In 2020, confident Jamie walked away from the security of a full-time paying job to break my glass ceiling of continually giving 150% to someone else's business and be compensated for experience, expertise, and desire to keep growing.

But, if I'm going to change the world, I've got work to do.

In 2022, a humble Jamie is reminded that entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart. However, I can feel proud to say that I'm a lifelong learner while at the same time clenching my teeth and saying, "Every day, I'm learning!"

If I want women like you running the world, I've got work to do.

I have zero regrets.

We play in this strange dichotomy in entrepreneurship that we are required to have the confidence to believe that we CAN and then forced to sit in the humility of an ever-changing marketplace, learning from our mistakes and using our face as our brand. (Visible and vulnerable much?!?)

During my reflection on Confident Humility as an entrepreneur and in business, I see a pattern of qualities we possess. I've added some questions to check yourself. I wouldn't want you to only consider the confident parts

  • We are confident enough to stay humble.

    • If you think you deserve better or something for less time, money, or effort than someone else, can you take a step back?

    • Why do you have this sense of entitlement?

  • We recognize lessons from mistakes.

    • What were you trying to accomplish?

    • What went wrong and when?

    • Then, ask yourself WHY?

  • We can be strong enough to admit we don't have the answers.

    • Are you confident enough to stay in your lane with your expertise and let others shine with theirs?

    • Are you humble enough to say, "I don't know?"

  • We know who we are without allowing our ego to interfere.

    • Do you have a system to check yourself first?

    • Are you honest with yourself?

  • We don't pretend to be anything other than who we are.

    • Are you honest about what is important to you?

    • How often are you using the word should?

    • Do others' expectations dictate your life?

  • We aspire to see the world through the eyes of the people we serve.

    • Are you confident enough to ask difficult questions?

    • Do you have the confidence to see the world from a different perspective?

    • Are you able to learn and grow once you see it?

Every day, we must learn, do, and actively improve.

To stay strategic, decisive, and innovative, we must train how we think and act.

It's how successful business owners achieve success. No wonder we don't fit the mold of working for someone else!

We're visionaries!

Understand your mind.

Use tools that work for you.

Jamie Chapman

Oh, Hi! I’m Jamie Chapman

I’m a Small Business Consultant who recognizes you might do things a little bit differently, and I’m here for it. I help support small businesses in a wide variety of industries and have a special place in my heart for neurodiverse entrepreneurs and ADHD business owners.

If you find that you’re often dancing to the beat of a pen tapping against your desk instead of your own drum, I see you and get you. And I want you to keep on dancing.

I value getting to know the whole person as a business owner and taking a holistic, human view of their needs. I meet you where you’re at and support you in getting to where you want to go.

I love watching small business owners thrive and feel proud of what they’re building.

Founder and Owner of Chickbook Creative, I’ve gained years of career experience in systems, processes, accountability, leadership, and project management. I bring a multi-faceted approach to problem-solving and extensive knowledge of executive functioning, habit formation, and the neurodiverse and ADHD entrepreneur’s mind.

I see and understand the ADHD entrepreneur brain at work, and I'm passionate about supporting neurodivergent business owners in a way that lets them shine their light and bring their gifts to the world for all to see (and pay them for!).
