Chickbook Creative / Weekly Mind Sweep

  1. Contemplation: Collaborate. When business owners talk to me about their ideas, my brain becomes like coffee percolating. (Idea, Idea, Idea). And the result is pure energy!

  2. Citation of the week: Confident attitudes don’t just happen. They’re built.

  3. Conversation consideration: What is the relation between the intention to do something and the actual doing? Read on.

  4. Check your reality: ask yourself hard questions. What is your Big Bold Vision? #FREEoraclecardreading with Virginia L’Bassi.

Now, let’s sweep the brain…

1. Collaborate: Work jointly on an activity, mainly to produce or create something.

When you collaborate with others, it creates a space of innovation, creativity, engagement, and learning. A place to problem-solve, increase the potential for change, and support others to achieve more. Being collaborative increases your businesses’ attention, productivity, and profitability.

For some, working collaboratively is a learned skill. To me, it’s a natural fit. I thrive in collaborative situations. I love to brainstorm!! When business owners talk to me about their ideas, my brain becomes like coffee percolating. (Idea, Idea, Idea). And the result is pure energy!

2. Citation.

Confident attitudes don’t just happen. They’re built.

You’ll gain the most skill by consistently pursuing. (darn that consistent word, Jamie!) It’s true. There are no hacks, tricks, shortcuts. You have to show up and do the work every day. And if need be, fake it till you make it.

3. Conversation Consideration.

What is the relation between the intention to do something and the actual doing?

Sometimes the intention-action gap is the result of:

  • a behavioral bias that favors immediate gratification

  • from setting over-ambitious targets.

  • Not having concrete goals that are clearly in a plan

  • Having that plan broken down into a series of smaller intermediate steps

People often have good intentions to choose the correct option, but sometimes the feature of choice prevents these intentions from becoming a reality.

4. Check your reality.

What is your Big Bold Vision?

I received this message from an oracle card reading with a dear friend and colleague, Virginia L’Bassi, and girl; it resonated with me. (was this written for me?) Get your FREE reading here!

“You were not born to play a small role in life. You have the ability to dream big. Even if you have absolutely no idea about how your visions can come to pass or what all the details may look like, you can access the heart and guts of a vision by tapping into your wildest dreams and surrendering attachment to exactly how it will all work out. The details are up to the creative genius of the universe. You are an active, contributing participant but not the sole player in your life journey. Read more here.

Jamie Chapman

Oh, Hi! I’m Jamie Chapman

Self-proclaimed brain geek, relationship builder, and business consultant who helps heart-centered entrepreneurs and small businesses execute their big ideas.

I have always been a curious person who thrives on helping others succeed.

Finding solutions is what I do.

When my twin boys were diagnosed with ADHD in elementary school, I had to learn how to navigate a school system that wasn’t built for neurodiverse individuals. By helping my boys find ways to succeed in these spaces, I realized the importance of shining a light on the gifts we bring to the world.

In a society that tries to “fit a round peg into a square hole,” I am here to support entrepreneurs and small business owners who want to take a different path to success.

While supporting small businesses in various industries, I have a special place in my heart for neurodiverse entrepreneurs and ADHD business owners.

Relationships and a holistic, human view of your business needs is something I value.

I meet you where you’re at and support you in getting where you want to go.

With a multifaceted approach to problem-solving, and extensive knowledge of executive functioning, habit formation, and the neurodiverse and ADHD entrepreneur’s mind, I support small business owners to thrive and feel proud of what they’re building.

My background is in manufacturing and business operations. I use my decades of experience with developing systems and processes to make your business operations smoother and more efficient.

As a perspective integrator and big-picture thinker, I want to help you execute your vision, spot inefficiencies, and find effective ways to grow your business.

Think of me as your strategic C.O.O. and partner in business success and growth.

Whether it’s 1:1 Consulting, MindSweep Mapping, or joining our Chickbook Creative community of business owners, I support idea generators in cultivating clarity and taking action to pursue their best ideas.

My purpose is to illuminate the gifts business owners and entrepreneurs bring to the world. I can’t wait to meet you and get started.

Time with me; Priceless.
