Now, let’s sweep the brain…

Insight - The capacity to gain an accurate and deep intuitive understanding of a person or thing.

1. Contemplation: Insight

The capacity to see into a situation.

This is the part of the fire where your kindling has caught, you have a flame, and the smoke is starting to form.

Insight is the fusion of strategy and innovation. But, being a creative entrepreneur, you might struggle with having your own Insight. As a result, you've weighed down your cognitive load.

Carrying around all of those ideas causes your brain to work on overload just to get through the day. It's challenging to take ideas to a higher level and think about them from a business perspective.

Schedule the time to practice lightening the cognitive load and think bigger; this is where innovation happens!

Want support holding space to do this work? I can help.

2. Citation.

It's true.

Meditation is one of the best ways to gain insight into decisions you need to make. Want to meditate more? I highly recommend Lisa Campbell at https://www.mindfulfilled.com/ (She offers a free Nature Meditation on Facebook every Saturday morning: https://fb.me/e/3EkbjIK9A)

Give your brain a break!

Working longer and hard on something that requires a decision does not make it easier or better. Instead, you need to step away and allow your brain a break to have an incubation period.

I promise, your brain is working in the background. However, your subconscious is excellent at coming up with ideas when you give it a break. This is why your best ideas come in the shower!

Here are 3 tips:

  1. Think about something completely different.

  2. Forget unhelpful solutions. This will give your brain space to create a fresh perspective.

  3. Schedule time to wait. Allow time and space for your brain to reorganize the issue. Your brain will restructure it!

But, how long? That depends. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes, sometimes it takes longer! Trust the process.

Bonus tip: Schedule time to worry. Literally. If something pops up when it's not time, remind yourself it's not time to worry about it. This re-frames the idea, so your brain is not actively looking for a solution. Instead, it just might create one!

Need support? You belong here.

F.I.R.E. Week Two - Insight, fundamentally change the way you see the world.

3. Conversation Consideration.

For the next FOUR weeks, I will share my FOUR pillar approach to pick, prioritize and execute a profitable idea.

🔥It's called F.I.R.E.

Your GIFT as an entrepreneur is that you are an idea generator. My gift is that I can help you choose the ideas that make your soul sing and help you prioritize your way to bringing them from concept to accomplishment.

🔥Together we'll create a solid Foundation of Strategy

🔥Dive into the Insight and the struggle to see it for ourselves.

🔥Bring together the Resources to start building your FIRE TOOLBOX

🔥And underscore the importance of Execution and what we learn.

If you missed last week - Foundation of Strategy, read it here.

Insight. This is the part of the fire where your kindling has caught and you have flame and the smoke is starting to form.

Step two is that you need to dive into the Insight.

🔥BE THE RESPONSE TO THE PROBLEM:

All businesses -- services and products, online or offline -- are a direct response to a problem. The purpose of a business -- in fact, the only reason it exists -- is to solve a problem.

🔥IDEAS & OPPORTUNITIES:

Coming up with fresh business ideas shouldn't be something you just do once a year when you need some money. To be a successful entrepreneur, you must fundamentally change the way you look at the world, always seeking out opportunities to serve other people and get paid in return.

🔥KEEP IT SIMPLE:

Social media and marketing have us believe that we must have a grand idea that makes us millions. But, If you can master doing simple things well right now, you'll still make a ton of money AND prepare yourself for more advanced items later.

🔥ACTION:

Lastly, stop talking and start doing. Talking about an idea before doing some initial processing on paper – tricks our brains into thinking that we are actually doing something about it!

Start small and see if it works.

Need support?

Check Your Reality: (Ask yourself hard questions.) Are you passionate enough to take action?

4. Check your reality.

Make the time to consider these questions.

  • What is your purpose?

  • How do you see the world?

  • What service do you wish existed that currently doesn't?

  • Does it solve a problem?

  • Will people pay for it?

  • What is the price point and cost?

  • Are you passionate enough about it?

  • Have you tested the idea?

  • Have you set realistic goals?

Do these questions make you uncomfortable?
