As heart-centered entrepreneurs driven by passion and a desire to make a positive impact, we often find ourselves inundated with a parade of dopamine-inducing marketing promises:

  • "a masterclass in business,"

  • "buy this program to 10x your sales,"

  • and the "irresistible offer" programs that clutter our inboxes.

Too often, we start these programs but don't finish them, leaving us feeling uneasy about investing money we haven't yet earned.

You are not alone.

Many of us spend more time learning than doing, immersing ourselves in curiosity, possibility, and the desire to make a difference in someone's life. However, for true entrepreneurial success, it's time to switch our mindset and turn the page to a chapter of execution.

Ask yourself: What can I do today to move from learning to doing?

We need to make money to fund the mission.

Success is personal.

Only YOU get to decide what success means to you. But the feeling of business success often comes from a balance of being and doing.

Just think of your brain as the CEO and your heart as the mission-driven visionary. The CEO (you) can't afford to keep approving endless research projects without seeing some results!

Today is the day for execution.

  • What have you learned that you can begin taking action on today?

  • What small step can you execute that will provide knowledge and insight for tomorrow?

  • What past failure can you revisit and tweak for a different outcome? [1]

When you are heart-centered, there are no "hacks," no "get rich quick" opportunities, and no "shortcuts" to success.

Success requires steady, intentional effort.

Let's take those deliberate steps, learn from our failures, and build the financial foundation essential to sustaining and expanding the reach of our mission-driven endeavors.

Together, we can turn our visions into reality.

What is one actionable insight you've gained recently that you can implement right now?

What I’m reading

What Happened to You?: Conversations on Trauma, Resilience, and Healing

Our earliest experiences shape our lives far down the road, and What Happened to You? provides powerful scientific and emotional insights into the behavioral patterns so many of us struggle to understand.

“Through this lens we can build a renewed sense of personal self-worth and ultimately recalibrate our responses to circumstances, situations, and relationships. It is, in other words, the key to reshaping our very lives.”—Oprah Winfrey

This book is going to change the way you see your life.

Have you ever wondered "Why did I do that?" or "Why can't I just control my behavior?" Others may judge our reactions and think, "What's wrong with that person?" When questioning our emotions, it's easy to place the blame on ourselves; holding ourselves and those around us to an impossible standard. It's time we started asking a different question.

Through deeply personal conversations, Oprah Winfrey and renowned brain and trauma expert Dr. Bruce Perry offer a groundbreaking and profound shift from asking “What’s wrong with you?” to “What happened to you?”

Jamie Chapman

Oh, Hi! I’m Jamie Chapman

I’m a Small Business Consultant who recognizes you might do things a little bit differently, and I’m here for it. I help support small businesses in a wide variety of industries and have a special place in my heart for neurodiverse entrepreneurs and ADHD business owners.

If you find that you’re often dancing to the beat of a pen tapping against your desk instead of your own drum, I see you and get you. And I want you to keep on dancing.

I value getting to know the whole person as a business owner and taking a holistic, human view of their needs. I meet you where you’re at and support you in getting to where you want to go.

I love watching small business owners thrive and feel proud of what they’re building.

Founder and Owner of Chickbook Creative, I’ve gained years of career experience in systems, processes, accountability, leadership, and project management. I bring a multi-faceted approach to problem-solving and extensive knowledge of executive functioning, habit formation, and the neurodiverse and ADHD entrepreneur’s mind.

I see and understand the ADHD entrepreneur brain at work, and I'm passionate about supporting neurodivergent business owners in a way that lets them shine their light and bring their gifts to the world for all to see (and pay them for!).
