Let’s sweep the brain…
Rather watch or listen instead of read? Now you can!
The Entrepreneur's Reality.
Thank you for joining me on this magical journey.
After all of our Curated Conversations about reality, I'm not just mindful; I'm mindFULL of wild ideas, gratitude for the coffee that fuels my genius, and a deeper understanding that my potential is so immense it could break the internet.
From stage left, we delved into the heavy moments where we realized we're all just walking talking hallucinations. How can we genuinely define reality when 8.1 billion different dynamic humans play a part in it?
[*Handing you a metaphorical spotlight to navigate the shadows - because who wants to trip on reality's uneven floor?]
Reality is like a stubborn GPS; it keeps saying "recalculating" when you take unexpected detours. By forcing, fighting, and frightening reality, we succumb to the automatic reactions of our minds.
Reality is that you are where you are, what is happening is happening, and you have so much power inside of you to make choices based on your experience of what is happening at any given moment.
Pause and remember the power of questioning, choice, and curiosity.
Embrace the ability to find joy in the journey.
Stage right, our shared conversations have unveiled euphoric moments, emphasizing that limitless opportunities await when we step aside. It's like discovering a secret stash of minerals in your pocket—surprising, delightful, and makes you wonder if you have magical pockets.
You can challenge the brain, or it can rule your reality.
You're on the stage, under the spotlight, and you can allow the organ in your skull, standing by awaiting sensory information and keeping the rest of the organs safe, to rule your reality. Or, we can stop believing everything we think.
You're in charge, not Siri.
You can challenge the brain, directing the narrative of your internal monologues, or let it become a controlling script ruling your reality. You've been gifted this phenomenal opportunity—human life.
What is possible? Everything.
Achieving anything is within your grasp. Spending time doing the work that matters brings you a sense of purpose and joy, no matter what you believe will be the outcome.
Knowing that things take the time they take, it's all happening for you, and every situation you label a failure is like a plot twist you've given meaning to based on your own experience. You have a choice to interpret it that way or not.
You bring a unique essence to this grand human experience.
You change the trajectory of something in our world.
You are the only you that brings what you bring to this thing we call life.
Live authentically and make meaningful contributions while embracing the ever-changing nature of life.
You, my fellow entrepreneur, are the unicorn standing center stage.
We are all just a blip on the grander scale of this human experience, and everything you do matters. You change the trajectory of something in our world.
Embrace your unicorn, make meaningful contributions, and view the entrepreneurial space not as a realm of failure but as one filled with opportunity, delight, and possibilities.
The choice is yours.
With only 2,080 weeks left, I'm committed to delivering my lines and leaving my mark on the world.
As we conclude this exploration of the entrepreneur's reality, I invite you to reflect:
In the vast landscape of possibilities, what role will you play, what scenes will you create, and how will you add YOUR flair to the ever-evolving script of your entrepreneurial adventure?
The answers you need for your business are already within you.
If you’d like support in pulling them out to build a business you are proud of, I’m here to help.

What I’m reading
Clear Thinking by Shane Parrish
“This manual is a must for any business mind.
You might believe you’re thinking clearly in the moments that matter most. But in all likelihood, when the pressure is on, you won’t be thinking at all. And your subsequent actions will inevitably move you further from the results you ultimately seek—love, belonging, success, wealth, victory. According to Farnam Street founder Shane Parrish, we must get better at recognizing these opportunities for what they are, and deploying our cognitive ability in order to achieve the life we want.
Clear Thinking gives you the tools to recognize the moments that have the potential to transform your trajectory, and reshape how you navigate the critical space between stimulus and response. As Parrish shows, we may imagine we are the protagonists in the story of our lives. But the sad truth is, most of us run on autopilot. Our behavioral defaults, groomed by biology, evolution, and culture, are primed to run the show for us if we don’t intervene. At our worst, we react to events without reasoning, not even realizing that we’ve missed an opportunity to think at all. At our best, we recognize these moments for what they are, and apply the full capacity of our reasoning and rationality to them.
Through stories, mental models, and more, Parrish offers the missing link between behavioral science and real-life outcomes. The result is a must-have manual for optimizing decision-making, gaining competitive advantage, and living a more intentional life.”
What I’m listening to:
Four Thousand Weeks: Time Management for Mortals by Oliver Burkeman
“Nobody needs to be told there isn’t enough time. Whether we’re starting our own business, or trying to write a novel during our lunch break, or staring down a pile of deadlines as we’re planning a vacation, we’re obsessed with our lengthening to-do lists, overfilled inboxes, work-life balance, and ceaseless struggle against distraction.
We’re deluged with advice on becoming more productive and efficient and life hacks to optimize our days. But such techniques often end up making things worse. The sense of anxious hurry grows more intense, and yet the most meaningful parts of life seem to lie just beyond the horizon. Still, we rarely make the connection between our daily struggles with time and the ultimate time management problem: the challenge of how best to use our four thousand weeks, the average length of a human life.
Drawing on the insights of both ancient and contemporary philosophers, psychologists, and spiritual teachers, Oliver Burkeman delivers an entertaining, humorous, practical, and ultimately profound guide to time and time management.
Rejecting the futile modern obsession with “getting everything done,” Four Thousand Weeks introduces readers to tools for constructing a meaningful life by embracing finitude, showing that many of the unhelpful ways we’ve come to think about time aren’t inescapable, unchanging truths, but choices we’ve made as individuals and as a society—and that we can do things differently.”
